Dare to Do It

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

I believe that there is a Higher Power or external/internal entity somewhere guiding us in our daily lives. We don’t have to put a name to it, that is a personal choice, but most believe there is some power bigger than us orchestrating the universe.

Yesterday while having breakfast with my daughter we talked about stepping out of one’s comfort zone to get to that top of the mountain we are so afraid to climb. Dare to do it. Keep pursuing and keep believing. It doesn’t take any more effort to take risks than it takes to develop a negative and defeated attitude. In spite of the obstacles thrown into my path, I rarely doubted that my dreams would come to pass. I rarely doubted that good things were in store for me. It was only on those few occasions when I let negative doubts affect my real thoughts and actions, did I suffer.

A positive attitude doesn’t come easy when thing seem to be going wrong. Unfortunately, as the Staples commercials would have you believe…there is no EASY BUTTON to fix our lives.

People who see their dreams come to pass are people who have strong resolve, some backbone: people who refuse to settle somewhere along the road. You need to simply focus on your goal, set your course, and have the attitude, I’m not going to settle for a little, or a bit or a small piece of happiness or success. I’m going to start living my best life now!
